Borneo Safari Sabah 31st International Offroad Challenge 2023
Borneo Safari Sabah is yearly off-road event for Sabah since 1991 when the Borneo Safari Sabah was founded. Proudly say that, this event was the region’s largest and longest running 4×4 event for more than three decades. Every year, the participant of this event keep increasing and receives wide coverage from media that come from over the world both local and international.
For this year’s event, participants and competitive convoys will embark on distinct paths, traversing rugged jungle terrain between Sook and Ranau that will test drivers’ physical endurance, mental grit, vehicle capability, and recovery talents. The routes will converge at the end to exit the intense trails together. Along the way, racers will pass through villages where charity initiatives like tree planting in Mamut on the final day allow them to give back. Though plotted separately at first, all attendees will reunite by the finish to have collectively conquered Borneo’s most challenging off-road gauntlet.

Flag Off Day
As usual, the event will start with the Flag Off Ceremony which is conducted at in front of Sabah Tourism Office at Gaya’s Street Sabah. The beginning of the adventures will officially Flag Off by local authorities and the Sabah’s Chief Minister and or by other represent minister.
The participant’s and competitive cars will be park along the road of Gaya’s Street in order preparation for the Flag Off session.
Super Stage Competition
Camping at Kampung Sook
As the Super Stage 2 will conducted at Kampung Sook for the next day, most of the competitor who stop by here to do some maintenance to their car for get ready for tomorrow event and have a rest and leisure.
Closing Borneo Safari Sabah 2023
Event concluded with closing ceremony dinner on 5 November 2023 as all participants and community came out from jungle after almost a week been at the challenging terrains of Sabah. During this ceremony, all competitor and participants will get their prize of competition and some appreciation gift to those sponsors and media team as well.
